About the Bowl-A-Thon

Teaching kids in the Tyler area about free enterprise education is right up our alley!  That’s why we are on pins and needles with excitement about our upcoming Bowling For Scholars Bowl-A-Thon!

Date                            Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday, February 16-19, 2012

Time                           It only takes about 2 hours of your time on one of these days to bowl

Structure                    4 people on a team – we expect to have over 400 people bowling

                                    Team members don’t all have to be from one company

                                    Don’t have to be regular or even good bowlers!

                                    No cost to enter – free shoes, Bowl 2 games

                                    Each bowler collects at least $50 from sponsors

Fun                             All kinds of prizes - Big prizes, little prizes, door prizes

Grand Prize is a vacation:  Air fare & 2 hotel nights for 2

Why                            Great way to promote teamwork

                                    Benefits over 3,800 kids in the Tyler area – preparing them for the future
